Positioning & Strategy
Understand who you serve, the value you bring and the choices that deserve attention.
Positioning connects market understanding with business priorities. It provides a starting point for the service we are developing at MACO.
Positioning & market insight
Understand the alternatives your customers consider and what makes your business relevant. Clarify the value you offer and how to communicate it.
The focus: market and competitor insight, positioning, value proposition and messaging.
Strategy & priorities
Together, we examine the options against your business goals, customer knowledge and available resources. Your team sets the priorities and makes the final decisions.
The focus: strategic choices, marketing direction and practical priorities.
MACO's service is in development. These are areas of focus, not a promise of a finished platform or guaranteed growth.
When this conversation is useful
Your business may offer something valuable, yet struggle to explain why a particular customer should choose it. Or the business may be changing while the positioning, website and marketing priorities still reflect an earlier stage.
The starting point is the decision in front of you: who to focus on, which customer problem matters most, or how to communicate a meaningful difference. These are connected questions, but they are not always the same project.
What we would look at together
We would first agree the question and the evidence available: customer conversations, existing research, market context, competitor messages and what your team has learned. The aim is to distinguish supported insights from assumptions before choosing a direction.
Any proposed scope should make the intended output clear, whether that is a sharper value proposition, a messaging structure or a comparison of options to support your team’s decisions. The work should help your team make choices, not simply produce another presentation.
What helps us start
Bring your current offer, a description of your customers, the decision you are struggling with and any relevant evidence. Gaps in the information are useful to identify; you do not need a perfect brief.
Questions to discuss
Do we need a rebrand? Not necessarily. First establish whether the difficulty is the positioning, the offer, the communication or something else.
Can strategy guarantee growth? No. It can improve the basis for decisions; results also depend on the offer, execution and market conditions.
What is the first step? A conversation about your situation and whether there is a useful, clearly scoped next step together.
